Vacant positions
Chair of Board of Directors
Capsol Technologies ASA is a carbon capture technology provider with a goal of accelerating the world’s transition to a net zero future. Capsol is a listed company on the Euronext Oslo Børs (ticker: CAPSL) and has a broad shareholder base of institutional and private investors.
Capsol is a technology licensor, conducts engineering studies and provides demonstration campaigns to its customers in key segments: cement, biomass, energy-from-waste, gas turbines and more.
Capsol’s technology combines carbon capture with an inherent heat recovery and generation system in a stand-alone unit based on a proven and safe solvent. The result is a solution that can be 20-60% lower in cost compared to amine-based solvent solutions, driven by an energy demand than can be 50% lower. Capsol has built its system on decades-proven chemistry and 15+ years of R&D, with active patents across twelve patent families, and ~15,000 hours in operation.
The team is headquartered in Oslo, Norway with presence in Germany and USA serving global markets. We are proud of the diverse talents on the team with experience from various industrial sectors and over 20 nationalities.

Endre O. Sund (b. 1950), Chair of the Board at Capsol Technologies ASA, has notified the Nomination Committee that he will not seek re-election when his term concludes in 2025. The Nomination Committee, with support from Capsol’s international Advisory Board, will now begin the process of identifying Sund’s successor.
“We will conduct a thorough search to identify our next Chair. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of leadership in fast-growing international technology companies, a strong industry network, and the strategic insight to support our management team in scaling Capsol Technologies and driving its global impact,” said Jan Kielland, Chairman of the Nomination Committee and member of the Advisory Board.
