He is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, the Royal Aeronautical Society and the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.
Morgan Bazilian
Director of the Payne Institute for Public Policy and Professor at the Colorado School of Mines. Previously, Bazilian was Lead Energy Specialist at the World Bank, a senior diplomat at the United Nations and the EU’s lead negotiator on technology at the UN climate negotiations. He is also a member of Ireland’s Climate Change Council. Bazilian holds a Ph.D in energy systems.Â

Also experienced in general management with focus on building and growing industrial businesses, strategy development and implementation, business transformations and technology development.

More than 40 years’ experience working with and holding management and board positions in companies within the energy sector, such as Shell International Petroleum Maatschappij, followed by SAGA Petroleum ASA, DNO ASA, Lundin Petroleum, Sector Asset Management, Canamens Limited, Panoro Energy ASA and Clean Carbon Group ASA. MSc in Petroleum Engineering.Â
